Up With Trees, a Tulsa non-profit that promotes urban forestry, will be at the Cherry Street Farmers’ Market on Saturday passing out free seedlings to market-goers.

Up With Trees is a non-profit dedicated to planting, preserving and promoting Tulsa’s urban forest. With the support of volunteers and donors, Up With Trees plants along streets and trails, in parks, schools, fire stations, neighborhoods, and many other public properties.

So go to the market, pick up some fresh, locally grown foods and get a seedling to plant.

The Cherry Street Farmers’ Market open is from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturdays on 15th Street and Peoria.
