Good morning, Anglophiles!

I have my coffee mug, a liter of water, and I'm set to type my little heart out, camped in front of a TV at work, watching BBC America.

So, while you're cushy-cozy on your couch or recliner, whether in your robe or a fabulous fascinator, sipping coffee with Kahlua or nibbling on scones (OK, maybe I'm projecting now), I'll be rambling a few times per hour until THE wave of the century -- the magical, Cinderalla's-castle-like moment when Kate and William (we're totally on a first-name basis now) step out on that balcony after they tie the knot.

Already, guests have been pouring into Westminster Abbey -- including soccer stud David Beckham, sharp in his morning suit; and Posh/Victoria (Poshtoria?) in a rather fabulous black or navy dress (can you tell?) and funky-cool doll-size hat. Is it her design?

Speaking of hats, the English know how to wear 'em. Granted, there are a few iffy headpieces in the crowd; but most are pretty cool. It's like a cross between an Easter service at a Southern Baptist church and Kentucky Derby.

OK, gotta take more notes. I'll be back around 4(ish) to ramble some more. Maybe something fun will happen, like Madonna crashing the party to take a swing at Guy Ritchie, who was invited, allegedly.

Peace, love and royal weddings ... XOXO

Living Wright

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
