Just read the Houston Chronicle online. Apparently, hypercolor has made a comeback. Sorta. OK, maybe a brief return.

Remember what I'm talkin' about? It was that heat-sensitive fabric from the Generra label that changed colors. I had a blue T-shirt that would turn pink, mostly under my arms, on my back and occasionally around my navel. Didn’t take long for me to realize, “Hmm, this is embarrassing.”

Anyway, the article said American Apparel makes a “hyper spinoff,” and I found their T-shirts online. They’re thermochromatic, ultralight sheer jersey tees for men and women that change between two colors — one when cold, one when warm.
