Grilling for the Fourth

Sure, most grills will be fired up with burgers, dogs and smoked meats for the Fourth of July. Don't overlook seafood for a healthier option, even though it might be pricier than ground beef and who-knows-what hot dogs.

Our friends at Bodean Seafood point out than a number of seafood items -- Alaskan king salmon, swordfish, marlin, yellow fin tuna, halibut, red grouper and cold-water lobster, to name a few -- are excellent for grilling.

Just check with the folks at Bodean or at the seafood section at your favorite supermarket for more ideas and cooking instructions. I have one of those wire fish baskets that works great for keeping more delicate fish from falling apart on the grill.
