MySpace is streaming the new
Franz Ferdinand album, "
Tonight: Franz Ferdinand," for free, all day today. And nothing is better than free music. Especially on a Friday.
The album goes on sale Monday.
The Glasgow indie pop band told the AFP news service, The band started out with an aim to "make girls dance" so the new direction is no departure from their original manifesto, but the choice of instruments and the synthetic sounds are different.
"Most of the instruments we used are from the 70s and maybe they were used in the 80s as well. Lots of synthesizers, drum machines," said McCarthy. "We definitely didn't want to do an 80s album though."
