I care. Do you? It's a question the Tulsa World is asking.

We have launched a different kind of online marketing campaign today.

It asks a simple question: "I care. Do you?"

The question is one that is posed after you read why notable subscribers who are either remarkable or successful or both explain why they subscribe.

Featured subscribers so far range from QuikTrip CEO Chet Cadieux to Tulsa mom Beth Goddard.

Check out what they had to say at www.tulsaworld.com/icare.

The site is designed for viewers to share someone's testimony or the site itself very easily.

So far, I've learned that the University of Tulsa football coach wakes up to the Tulsa World iPad app each morning. Obviously, he reads our in-depth high school sports coverage from Barry Lewis and Mike Brown a lot to help in recruiting. But it was what he said about what he hears from a lot of people.

“We can say we’re good, caring people. But honestly, if you don’t know the issues, how can you really care?"

That really stuck with me and something I've shared with others who don't stay current with local issues.

Check out the site and share it if you think it would help persuade someone you know to read the Tulsa World.
