What I am NOT having this morning at my own little wedding watch party.

The wedding of the century -- the century so far, anyway -- will take place at Westminster Abbey.

I'm not sure what I'm more anxious about: Seeing the dress (which designer did Kate pick?) and, of course, feeling a bit of deja vu, seeing as how I remember Prince Di's wedding when I a wee lad. Well, as wee as a Husky jeans-wearing boy from south Mississippi could be.

Anyhoo, people have been arriving at the abbey since a little after 2 a.m. our time, and I set myself in front of the big screen at work around 3 a.m., loaded up on caffeine, salivating over friends' Facebook posts about having mimosas, scones and, it seems, refrigerated biscuits. Sigh ...

So I'm watching BBC America, along with millions of other people -- Oh! There's Elton John! Sorry, I'm Mr. ADD. Anyhoo, millions of people in 180 countries are watching this with me, according to the network. Meanwhile, thousands of folks are gathered about the city, waving Union flags, some shouting "We want Will! We want Will!"

What do y'all think about the hats so far? I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm really digging Victoria Beckham's hat/fascinator/hatinator or whatever it is. Love the dress even more. Is it hers? I'll find out and holler back.

In the mean time, take mental notes on your favorite fashion. And stay tuned to find out who Kate picked for what will undoubtedly become the hottest wedding dress trend of the year.

Peace, love and a noticeable lack of mimosa ... XOXO

Living Wright

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
