Now that’s Hollywood official

After Justin Timberlake wed Jessica Biel last week, the “7th Heaven” actress has told PEOPLE magazine she will, from this point forward, be referred to as Jessica Timberlake, thankyouverymuch.

Gosh, doesn’t that make the news that much more real? Now those ‘Mrs. Timberlake’ t-shirts we’ve all had from yesteryear should go the way of the thrift store.

"Yes, I'm changing my name," Biel, 30, told PEOPLE. "My professional name will still be the same, but for life, yes, I think it sounds great. I think I really won the jackpot of names."

Oh, doesn’t she know it.

The couple got married last week in southern Italy before close friends and family, and this week the magazine revealed first photos of the two – Biel wearing a bubble gum pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown.

Donald, stooop, please.

“The View” co-host Barbara Walters has just two words for her longtime friend Donald Trump after the New York billionaire asked President Barack Obama to hand over his passport in lieu of $5 million donated to Barry’s favorite charity.

“Stop it.”

On Thursday’s episode of the daytime talk show, Walters implored the 66-year-old –wherever he was – to cut.it.out. (Uncle Joey style)

Seriously.

"Donald, you and I have known each other for many years and you know that I am your friend and you know I think you are a brilliant businessman and you are great on television and you have a fascinating personality.

"Donald, you're making a fool of yourself. You're not hurting Obama, you're hurting Donald and that hurts me because you're a decent man. Stop it. Get off it, Donald."

And Trump’s response:

… and then…

.

…and then…

Shaking my head.

Makes you wonder who the adults are in this world sometimes…

Moving on.

Correction: Princess Sofia is just Princess Sofia, Disney says

(AP/Disney Junior)

Now in case you thought Disney’s Princess Sofia of “Sofia the First” was Hispanic, Disney wants to make it clear she’s not…Even though, a few of its reps definitely did say she was initially, reports CNN.

During a press tour, Entertainment Weekly had reported the show’s executive producer Jamie Mitchell as saying Sofia “is Latina.”

After various groups and others questioned Sofia’s authenticity – she has auburn hair, pale skin and blue eyes and is from a place called Enchancia- a place influenced by Spain and Latin America – Disney made one clarification via Facebook and now has made a second:

"Some of you may have seen the recent news stories on whether Sofia is or isn't a 'Latina princess,'" said Nancy Kanter, Disney Junior Worldwide's senior vice president of original programming in a statement.

"What's important to know is that Sofia is a fairytale girl who lives in a fairytale world. All our characters come from fantasy lands that may reflect elements of various cultures and ethnicities but none are meant to specifically represent those real world cultures. The writers have wisely chosen to write stories that include elements that will be familiar and relatable to kids from many different backgrounds including Spain and Latin America. For example, Sofia's mom comes from a fictitious land, Galdiz, which was inspired by Spain,"

Backtracking as you have, may in fact be easier, Disney. Yes, you should inform your characters factually but maybe not let PC completely back you off your artistic direction.

There are a host of Disney characters out there, that people, if they really wanted to, could take issue with: Mickey Mouse, Minnie--- Mice aren't always happy like that! They don't have big smiles and such!

But who wouldn't understand Disney's want to rectify this issue. We’re talking about people and our ability to connect with what we see.

In the latest in journalism news – Superman's alter ego Clark Kent has quit the biz. And nooo, he’s not going into PR like many a-journo has seen his friends do, but Clark’s had enough, darnnit!

Really! In the latest issue of the DC comic book that went on sale Wednesday, Kent quits The Daily Planet after his boss berates him, CNN reports.

"I was taught to believe you could use words to change the course of rivers -- that even the darkest secrets would fall under the harsh light of the sun," Kent says in an outburst.

"But facts have been replaced by opinions. Information has been replaced by entertainment. Reporters have become stenographers. I can't be the only one who's sick of what passes for the news today."

Sigh.

LiLo's publicist quits

And if you hadn’t heard, Denny’s has announced it is offering a Middle-earth inspired menu ahead of the December release of “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.”

The Hobbit-inspired menu features the “Hobbit Hole Breakfast,” “Frodo’s Pot Roast Skillet” and “Build Your Own Hobbit Slam,” “which includes new limited time holiday favorites such as “Pumpkin Patch Pancakes,” “Shire Sausage,” and “Seed Cake French Toast,” reads the press release.

Just give me some of your delicious pancakes, Denny’s -- however you want to name them, and I’ll be just fine.
