"Jon and Kate" drama

So are y'all as tired of hearing about this as I am? You know, the dad from the "Jon and Kate Plus Eight" show on TLC that follows this couple with 38 kids.

Anyway, as I'm prone to be non-trusty, I was all, "Oooh, he's cheating on her!" I've since read that he said it was just a friend, a bouncer at the bar he was with (in the company of a female friend, but whatev) said nothing romantic was going on, Kate came to his defense, blah, blah, blah, life seems hunky-dory -- just the media taking things WAAAAY out of proportion. Right?

But Kate also said this, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly I read today:

"It's disturbing and unfortunate that these tabloids have gone as far as they have to try and bring us down. Jon's poor judgment and irresponsible behavior has also without a doubt caused some added tension and stress between the two of us."

Do you think it was "poor judgment" on his part and "irresponsible behavior" to meet a friend for a drink? I'm assuming the kids, of course, were with a babysitter or parents or something, not swinging from light fixtures.

Just curious what you think. Peace, love and lots of babies ... xoxo

I think unless he is sleeping with her, and I have'nt heard he is, the poor guy deserves some time away from the house. One child is stressful at times to take care of. I can not imagine 8! Cut the poor guy some slack, everyone deserves to wind down and relax.

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
