Green, the color that we'll hopefully see a lot of outside after this storm passes through the state.

I just had to get this entry in before the end of the NBA season.

I was a bit preoccupied last December, but Nike released a really cool "Weatherman" version of Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant's shoes then.

Says Kevin Durant in an interview at the Josh Howard Celebrity All-Star event last December, as quoted by the Washington Post:
"I always wanted to be a weatherman growing up," Durant said. "I like natural disasters so I’ve made a really nice shoe."

The Weather Channel also did a feature on the shoes:

Alas, the only place I can find this shoe now months after its release is eBay, and they are not cheap.

I hope that our weather themed NBA finals does not end tonight. But, if it does, I have a feeling that both the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat will be back in the championship hunt for many years to come. Perhaps by then, the NBA will have more weather-themed teams, like the Seattle Endless Rainfall or the Green Bay Snowstorm.
