Legendary filmmaker George Lucas enters the arena of "Robot Combat League" Tuesday.
Lucas makes a surprise visit to the show to lend support to his daughter professional MMA fighter Amanda Lucas who will compete as robo-jockey for "Robo Hammer" at 9 p.m. Tuesday on Syfy, cable 45.
On the new series, eight-foot tall robots are controlled by a human fighter (robo jockey) and an engineer (robo-tech) in tournament-style battles.
Tuesday's episode, titled "A Hero's Journey," features preliminary fights that will bring the contestants closer to winning the $100,000 grand prize.
