Kings of Leon’s Jared Followill Tweeted to fans during the Showtime premiere of the band’s documentary, “Talihina Sky” on Sunday.

Through rough spots and happy, the bassist Tweeted, “It’s on! Showtime! Now!” via his @youngfollowill account, then followed with a string of “I never got that dollar back,” “I never got that pillow back,” “Matt never got that tone back,” jabs (all in good nature) as the movie progressed.

He ended with “Hope you guys and girls enjoyed watching that as much as we did filming it for the last 8 years.”

Two of the band members were born in Oklahoma, and the band has extensive Oklahoma ties.

The documentary is named for the small Oklahoma town where they spent so much time while growing up with a Pentecostal family. The film also features scenes with a partying frontman Caleb Followill, who is was at the center of vitriol from several bandmates in July after KoL canceled its U.S. tour.

Showtime will re-air the documentary through Sept. 5 on Showtime Showcase and its main station. Check local listings for times.
