Jared Followill recently said the band is headed to the studio to start recording its next album.
The band’s started writing, he told
Xfm radio station in London.
“When we get together we’re just so excited about the new stuff that we end up playing that and we’ll jam on songs for literally hours,” he said.
“We’re in the baby stages of making the record.”
The band’s most recent album, “Come Around Sundown,” was released in 2010.
The band was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame last year.
