Kristin Chenoweth, 44, tells
PEOPLE magazine that the two "have been spending a little time together."
According the magazine, Chenoweth met
Jake Pavelka, 34, at an event in October, and not long after were seen dining together in West Hollywood and more recently at a cafe near Pavelka's home in Texas.
Chenoweth, a native of Broken Arrow, said that after the July accident in which she suffered a head injury while filming "The Good Wife," she wants to make time do things a little differently.
Telling PEOPLE that squeezing dates into her busy schedule has been difficult in the past, after the summer accident, "I am doing much better but I think it slowed me down and I've realized life is short. I want to do things that make me happy."
