Now through Saturday, Dillard's is offering an additional 30 percent off ALL permanently reduced merchandise throughout the store, Dillard's Promenade general manager, Dennis Hix, told me this morning. That's EVERYTHING already reduced at both the Promenade location, as well as Woodland Hills Mall, from men's and women's apparel to kids stuff, home decor, even furniture. After stocking up on my Bath & Body Works soaps Tuesday afternoon, I stuck my head in Pavilion to say hi to Lucy. Turns out they've marked down their spring and summer stuff between 25 and 50 percent -- and will stay reduced 'til it's gone to make room for all that fabulous fall merchandise that's on its way. Living Wright

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
