The anticipated mid-January opening of Las Americas Latin Grill & Tequila Bar has been postponed, probably to mid February, according to owner Guillermo Rojas.
"We had a problem with the sign company, so we had to order another one and that could take 30 days," Rojas said. "We are working to get a temporary sign because we are ready to open the restaurant."
Las Americas Latin Grill & Tequila Bar is located in space that formerly held the Green Onion at 4532 E. 51st St.
Rojas and his sister, Edith Rojas, also operate Casa Laredo Latin Grill & Tequila Bar in downtown Tulsa. The Rojas family has had Casa Laredo restaurants in various locations for more than 30 years.
