Tuesday is the last day to make reservations for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma’s 16th annual “Empty Bowls” fundraising dinner.
The event is set for 6:30 p.m. April 24 at the Hyatt Regency Tulsa, 100 E. Second St.
Registration is $45 per person, and includes a soup-and-salad dinner, dessert and a souvenir bowl handcrafted by the Northeastern Oklahoma Wood Turners Association and other area artists.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with dinner, a silent auction, raffle and restaurant and wine pulls to follow, according to a press release from the organization. A live auction will take place after a brief program starting at 8 p.m.
This year’s event features a wide range of items to bid, including a five-night trip for 8-10 people to Crested Butte, Colo.; packages to four area golf courses; two tickets to Kristin Chenoweth’s June 24 concert in Broken Arrow and a meet-and-greet after the show; two tickets to a 2012 OU game; and memorabilia signed by George Strait, Ringo Starr and sports personalities.
