Dressed in all black, George Thorogood played his trademark rumblin, rockin blues with backing sax, a Chuck Berry-like duck walk and signature guitar rollercoaster.

LED screens projected fire. The crowd sang in unison, hands raised, "Who do ya looooove!?" louder than Thorogood could scream it over the crowd.

He promised to get down and dirty -- and maybe even arrested -- for the rowdy fans on Friday night at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.

"How does it feel to be 17 again?" he yelled as he barreled through "Get a Haircut."

"This is our very first engagement at the Hard Rock. It's the start of a long and beautiful relationship," he told the roaring crowd.

"Bad to the Bone" and "I'm a Man" sound like knock offs of "Hoochie Coochie Man."

Barrelhouse Beat

Barrelhouse: A colloquialism describing the low saloons at the turn of the century (19th) that served whiskey straight out of the barrel. It's also a reference to the type of music played in those venues. Ex: Barrelhouse music.

Beat: The time or timing. Ex: The band played with a solid beat. Also used as a term describing a reporters specific area of expertise. Ex: The music beat.
