Lazy cow -- less angry than mad cow but even less productive

Moo.

So I was out sick Monday afternoon through Tuesday, gettin' my work legs back, blah, blah, blah.

But had I actually been blogging, it would've gone something along the lines of this, albeit less condensed than what you're about to read:

FRIDAY: No exercise, ate healthy.
SATURDAY: No exercise, ate moderately healthy.
SUNDAY: No exercise, ate like a whore.
MONDAY: No exercise, didn't eat enough.
TUESDAY: No exercise, ate moderately healthy -- unless you count two chicken breasts stuffed with cheese.
WEDNESDAY: No exercise, ate healthy (so far).

Notice a pattern? I'm a lazy cow! Granted, I've been a smidgen under the weather; but most of those days I was tee-totally fine to go to Gymboree and break a sweat for 45 minutes, ya know?

But Thursday is a new day, and I have EVERY INTENTION of getting up in the moring and going for a four- or five-mile run on the treadmill. Ugh ... It's like I'm starting all over again.

I hate to blame feeling icky on my lack of cardio initiative, but whatever. I'm back to snuff enough to rouse myself by 6 a.m., do the sweat thing, come home and eat, and then blog about how awesome things are going on the morrow. Keep your fingers or hooves crossed, will ya?

Peace, love and initiative ... XOXO

Well, I'd feel sorry for you on the "non workout" thing, but JOIN THE FRICKIN' CLUB!!! If I had a nickel for every time I said "I'll do it in the morning, I SWEAR!", I'd have enough money to buy my very own gym!

Living Wright

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
