Libraries offering everything from an etiquette class to a magic show

Every time I look on the library's website, it looks like they just keep adding more and more fun options for kids.

Here are some of the events going on at various branches this week.

Monday

Mini Manners Fun: Etiquette Class
2 to 3 p.m., Martin Regional Library
Kids ages 5-12 can polish up their good manners with this class. Refreshments will be served. Preregistration is required. Call 918-549-7595.

Tuesday
Punch and Judy Puppet Show
1:30 to 2:15 p.m., Central Library Aaronson Auditorium
Kids ages 5-12 can join the Garage Door Players Puppets in the world of "Punch and Judy."
This event is for ages 5-12.

Dream Big: Save the Eggs, Get the Pigs

2 to 3 p.m., South Broken Arrow Library
The library has taken the game "Angry Birds" to a new level. This afternoon, the library will let you make your own birds to launch at those "dastardly pigs." For ages 8-12. Preregistration is required. Call 918-549-7662.

Don't Try This at Home!

2 to 3:30 p.m., Martin Regional Library
Observe explosive demonstrations, burning money and other exciting science experiments. For ages 10-18.

Wednesday

Latin Drumming
10:30 a.m., Jenks Library
Join John Dellavedova for some Latin drumming. For ages 5-12.

A Wicked Night: Make-and-Take Jewelry
2 to 3:30 p.m., South Broken Arrow Library
Make your own jewelry today, perhaps with inspiration from those cool accessories that evil queens and other villains always seem to have. For ages 13-16. Preregistration is required. Call 918-549-7662.

Thursday
Vaudeville Magic Show With Chris Capstone
1 to 1:45 p.m., Glenpool Library
An old-fashioned magic show featuring antique magician's props and period costumes. Oh, and it'll be funny. For ages 5-12.

Glow-in-the-Dark Origami
6 to 7:30 p.m., Zarrow Regional Library
Everyone ages 10-18 is invited to come make their own creations using glow-in-the-dark origami paper.

Tulsa To Do
