Library Lego Build-Off

Can your kids make amazing Lego structures? Have you seen those castles rise, piece by piece, from their bedroom floors? If so, then they might be interested in participating in the Tulsa City-County Library's Great Lego Build Off.

During the summer, various library branches are hosting Lego tournaments. Winners will receive a prize, and the top three winners at each branch will compete in the next round on July 27.

The contests are divided into two categories - one for first- through fifth-graders, and one for sixth- through 12th-graders. The younger age group will have an hour to build an original structure, based on the theme, "Dream Big - READ." The older age group will have 90 minutes to build, based on the theme "Own the Night."

Participants must bring their own Legos. Pre-registration is required for each event. Call your library branch to register.

Wednesday, June 27 - Rudisill Regional Library, 10 a.m. 1st-5th graders.
Wednesday, June 27 - Helmerich Library, 1:30 p.m. 6th-12th graders.
Thursday, June 28 - Broken Arrow Library, 1 p.m. 6th-12th graders.
Friday, June 29 - Herman and Kate Kaiser Library, 2 p.m. 1st-5th graders.
Saturday, July 7 - Pratt Library, 10:30 a.m. 6th-12th graders.
Tuesday, July 10 - Broken Arrow Library, 1 p.m. 1st-5th graders.
Wednesday, July 11 - Martin Regional Library, 1:30 p.m. 1st-5th graders.
Wednesday, July 11 - Martin Regional Library, 3 p.m. 6th-12th graders.

Tulsa To Do
