So ends a long chapter in the troubled starlet's life -- Lindsay Lohan has formally completed her probation today, as ruled by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner.
According to
USA Today, Lohan has completed her therapy, community service and has paid all of her fines for a 2007 DUI case. The judge put
her on "informal probation for her shoplifting conviction until May 2014."
That didn't come without a warning, though.
Sautner said to Lohan:
"Live your life a more mature way. Stop the night-clubbing. You don't need to come to court anymore. The DUI case is over, the necklace case is hanging over your head until May 2014. I don't expect to see you again.
After Lohan said "thank you," Saunter replied:
"You know what you have to do. Good bye, and good luck."
Lohan seems to be headed on the right track. I've been frustrated with her for years -- a girl who "had it all," just threw it away without so much as a thought.
Then I happened to catch a couple of episodes of "Celebrity Rehab" (you can judge me a little), when her father, Michael Lohan, was a cast member. What a piece of work. I couldn't watch much more of that show.
Let's just say that he's a bit of a loose cannon, and has major anger management and drug issues.
Still, that's no excuse, right? Lindsay seems to have some friends left in Hollywood -- Lorne Michaels gave her a spot on "SNL" a few weeks ago.
And she's reportedly tapped to appear on "Glee," according to multiple outlets, including
People.
What do you think? Is Lindsay ready for a major comeback, or are you over her, already?
