I SEE MOVIES FOR FREE
There's a reason that the Eagles were the opening-night act for both Tulsa's BOK Center and the Ford Center in Oklahoma City: ...
'As I Lay Dying,' a film based on the William Faulkner novel and featuring James Franco and Tulsa native Tim Blake Nelson, ...
You asked for it, Tulsa, and the Admiral Twin Drive-in is delivering: On May 23, you can kick off the Memorial Day holiday ...

The leg in question.
Angelina Jolie has a right leg. And that leg has a Twitter account.
The Academy Awards ceremony offers everything from the sublime to the ridiculous. There are winners and losers (in awards and in fashion critiques), a few surprises and some water-cooler moments.
Like Jolie's leg last year, hiked so far outside of her dress that it demanded commentary and its own social-media outlet.
I have mine as well (a social-media outlet, that is, to go along with two legs), and I will be on Twitter during Sunday night's Oscars, granting acclaim as necessary and poking fun as needed.

Look for Academy Awards trivia and an Oscar party ballot in Friday's paper, and look for me making some Oscar predictions on Friday morning on KOTV, channel 6 (about 7:15 a.m. on the morning show) and on KTUL, channel 8 (in the 9 a.m. hour on "Good Day Tulsa").
I'll make even more predictions in Sunday's Tulsa World, and then it's time to put on a show.
Join me in the Twitter fun on Sunday night, or look for my tweets in a print version on Monday morning when we present full Oscars coverage.
I think it's going to be a fun show this year. No, really. I wouldn't pull your leg on that kind of thing.
