Lindsay Lohan had big ratings for SNL.

I watch 'SNL' religiously -- mostly to see my favorite player, Bill Hader -- but I was especially interested in Lindsay Lohan's big hosting gig.
Did you watch? It scored big ratings for NBC, according to the entertainment sites today, like
EW.
Her monologue was funny -- she essentially made fun of her arrests and off-camera shenanigans -- but it mostly was due to the clever writing, and having
Mad Men star Jon Hamm in the audience "waiting" to be her back-up host.
But the best part of the night, and many critics agree, was the pre-taped spoof on
Real Housewives of Disney.
Lohan was Rapunzel to the SNL cast's grumpy Snow White, emotional Jasmine, wacko Belle and the partying train-wreck Cinderella (played by the hilarious Kristen Wiig).
But that was about it. She flubbed some lines in the "Scared Straight" skit, but she played herself -- as a prisoner. So I've got to give her some credit for that.
Still, ratings mean everything in Hollywood, so this will surely boost her career, a bit.
But the most obvious thing -- and as a woman I don't like to criticize other women's looks -- was Lindsay's odd appearance. She looks like she's already had too much plastic surgery, and she's 25. And the platinum blonde isn't a great look for her. She looked much better in skits with a brown or reddish wig.
Why, Lindsay, why?
What did you think of Lohan's performance -- hit or miss?
