Looking for those lemon net things

We're back from vacation and the thrill of watching a grandson graduate from high school in Estes Park, Colo. Last Sunday we were near the top of Rocky Mountain National Park, some 12,000 feet with several feet of snow on each side of the road and the temp reading 34 degrees.

The only things that made this bearable to this warm-weather freak were the majestic views and the knowledge it was 70 degrees at the bottom of the mountain.

A short time after returning to Tulsa we had a nice dinner at Bonefish Grill. We noticed the lemons served to squeeze over the fish were covered in a fine-mesh net, like a hairnet, to keep the citrus juice from shooting into one's eyes.

Don't tell the kind folks at Bonefish, or the local gendarmes, but we nipped one to try at home. Does anyone know if any of the kitchenware stores have these, so I can buy one to take to the restaurant and keep a clear conscience?

those lemon "booties" are cool huh? they make great shower caps for barbies. I can find out where my restaurant, not bonefish, gets them and report back.

Scott,
Until you find the real thing, put the lemon in cheesecloth and secure with string.
Now, you can return the pilfered net to Bonefish Grill and clear your conscience.
(Why not ask Bonefish where it gets them?)

I've been on short vacation. Thanks for the help.

Scott, you might try checking with THe Stock Pot on 41st or with Fadler's market.
