If the only Irish food you've ever had is a hearty pint of Guinness, you are missing out on some tasty dishes.
In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, we have compiled a series of seven blogs with recipes for you to try.
And no one is saying that you have to give up your Guinness. There are plenty of recipes that use the beer as an ingredient. I’ll give you one for a dessert that has received rave reviews.
Or, have that pint of beer on the side of a traditional Irish meal. Hint...creamy mashed potatoes and salty Irish bacon.
The first recipe in our salute to St. Patrick’s Day is for an Irish scone made with one of my favorite Irish cheeses.
The Cahill Porter cheese is distinctively marbled with porter that has been brewed by Guinness.
And, yes, I do see a theme emerging.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day and check back for six more recipes in our Lucky Seven series.
