MTV has scheduled its special "Whitney Houston: In Her Own Words" at 6:30 p.m. tonight on cable 39.
Sway Calloway will host the live MTV News special which will feature interviews with the late singer from 1986 to the present.
The program will include personal stories from music celebrities on "her impact and, moreover, the voice of Houston herself from the time she entered the limelight through her final appearance on the network," according to press information.
The 48-year-old singer died Saturday after being found underwater and unconscious in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
"Whitney Houston: In Her Own Words" will stream simultaneously on tulsaworld.com/whitneyhouston and be available on-demand after the telecast.
