Mazzio's founder Ken Selby has been named to the Oklahoma Restaurant Association Hall of Fame for his more than 50 years of involvement in the industry.

Selby died in May 2012. His family will accept the award at the ORA's member luncheon Tuesday at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City.

Selby opened his first pizza parlor in 1961 in Tulsa. He opened a second location four years later and named it Ken's Pizza.

In 1979, he started a second restaurant concept around these pizza parlors that eventually became Mazzio's.

Today, Mazzio's has 154 locations in nine states offering pizza, pasta, sandwiches and salad bar.
