It's 28 March. It's Oklahoma. And it's snowing like Saskatchewan.

Oh well.

I hadn't planned any outdoor activities today.

And besides, there is something marvelously tranquil about snow falling, at any time of year. It always seems to me that snow quiets the world for a while. things sound different as snow falls -- or they don't sound at all, perhaps because most people are pausing in their daily routines just to watch this marvelous sight.

Yes, the ballet is still scheduled for Saturday and Sunday -- that is the official word from the Tulsa PAC ticket office.

The Signature Symphony's concert at the VanTrease PACE is, as of this writing, also still on for Saturday evening.

A University of Oklahoma Phi Beta Kappa graduate, Watts has received the Governor Arts Award, Harwelden Award and the National Conference of Christians and Jews Beth Macklin Award for his writing.
