Michael V's, Pho and readers' other suggestions for tasty dishes

Last week, I told y'all about five salads I loved around town.

Thankfully, you've since replied with some of your own favorite salads -- and one or two that weren't -- via email, which I wanted to share with the rest of you.

Michael's Signature Salad

Mixed greens tossed with raspberry vinaigrette, then topped with sun-dried cherries and apples, candied pecans and crumbled goat cheese ($5).

Chinois Chicken Salad
Wolfgang Puck Bistro, 3330 South Peoria Ave.
I wish I had thought to include this in my salad favorites last week, as this is my favorite dish at Puck's: a salad of Asian cabbage, wontons, cashews, ginger and sesame-honey dressing ($11).

Pho Chay vegetable noodle soup
Pho, 12308 E. 86th St. North, Owasso
OK, this isn't a salad, but it sounded too good not to mention. It's a bowl filled with noodles and veggies in a fragrant broth that is "just somehow magical," a reader said. It's served with a platter of fresh bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeno peppers and limes ($5.95-$8.95, sizes small through large).

Organic Baby Spinach Salad
Boston Deli Grill & Market, 6231 E. 61st St.
This sounds like a little bowl of heaven: organic baby spinach, hot hickory ham, goat cheese, candied pecans, red onion and roasted grape tomatoes tossed with house red wine blush dressing -- although I'm also told the roasted pecan pesto is amazing ($4.50 half, $8 full).
