Miranda Lambert is asking her Twitter followers for help.

On Tuesday, the country music star tweeted that one of her dogs is missing, according to people.com.

"If you live in Tishomingo Ok..our dog Loretta has been missing for 2 days. She is a small black lab. She has a pink collar w a tag..." she tweeted Tuesday.

"She is very friendly. If u see her, please call the number on her tag. We are praying she comes home soon,” Lambert tweeted later. She also added a photo of Loretta to the tweet.

Lambert and her husband, country star and "The Voice" musician coach Blake Shelton, adopted the abandoned pup in May.

Initially, the plan was to find her a new home.

"She will go to a new good home soon I hope. :) or maybe she is already. Hehe," Lambert tweeted. But, after one month with the couple, Shelton agreed they should keep the dog, reported the website.

Loretta is one of numerous dogs that call the Lambert-Shelton ranch near Tishomingo home. They include: fellow rescue dogs Ophelia, Emmy Lou, Delta, Delilah, Jessi, Waylon, Virginia Bluebell, Black Betty and Cher.

Rita Sherrow grew up with TV. Yes, it was the ever-present “sister” from another techno mother. At first look, it was instant "Like." From then on, the TV had to be on in every room while she studied, elementary school through college. An Air Force brat, she attended school in three states (Oklahoma, Montana and Georgia) and two foreign countries (Germany and Bermuda) and graduated from Broken Arrow High School and the University of Tulsa with a degree in journalism/advertising. She first interned in the advertising world but, when a J-School professor (who also covered politics for the Tulsa World) offered her an internship at the newspaper, she took him up on it. The rest is history. She has served as bridal editor, senior features writer for the women’s section, food editor and is television editor of the Tulsa World. In addition to writing about TV shows and interviewing the stars for “Scene” stories, she also writes a TV column for Weekend and produces the Sunday TV World listings magazine.
