In Wednesday's Scene section you'll find a story about the Tulsa Historical Society's Magical History Tour.

The exhibit "Road to the Governor's Mansion" is interesting enough on its, but opening night will be even better because of the food.

Bite-size versions of classic Route 66 food, including Molly's Landing's marinated mushrooms, will be served at the Tulsa Historical Society on Saturday night.

MOLLY'S LANDING MARINATED MUSHROOMS

1½ cups vegetable oil

½ teaspoon dry mustard

1½ cups vinegar

1½ tablespoon fresh garlic -- minced

2 medium onions, minced

3 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon salt

1 pound fresh mushrooms, cleaned

1. Combine all ingredients, except mushrooms. Pour mixture over mushrooms and marinate for 24 hours in the refrigerator. Makes 5 to 6 servings.
