"Moving Forward" program on Saturday for people newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Oklahoma branch is offering an educational program for individuals newly diagnosed with multiple sclerosis from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The program will be held in the first floor conference room of the Warren Clinic Tower, 6600 S. Yale.

The Moving Forward program is designed for those diagnosed two years ago or less, or who have never attended the program previously. Spouses, partners, family members and friends are welcome as guests. No children.

Topics to be covered include treatments, new research and wellness.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, Aug. 22. Registration is $5 per person, and can be done online at www.nationalmssociety.org/ok or by calling 1-800-344-4867 and pressing 1.

Breakfast and lunch are included.
