NFL-Gallo dinner to benefit Tulsa Food Bank

Gallo, the mega wine company, is donating 33 meals to the Tulsa Food Bank for every case of Gallo wines sold through the National Football League season at Biga, 4329 S. Peoria Ave.

To kick off the promotion, Katie Zoretic of Gallo will host a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Monday, the night of the Chicago Bears-Detroit Lions game, at Biga.

Dishes include cioppino (a San Francisco-tyle fish stew), orecchiette pasta with Italian sausage and broccoli rabe, Italian braised beef with red wine sauce and white and dark chocolate mousse cake.

Wines include William Hill Napa chardonnay, Don Miguel Gascon malbec and Louis Martini cabernet sauvignon. These are some of the better wines in the Gallo portfolio.

Cost is $30. Reservations: 918-743-2442.
