NOM, NOM, NOM: What are YOUR favorite late-night food places?

I'm an unabashed fan of McDonald's fries.

They're not something I get on a regular basis, but every other month I swing by for some -- usually late at night.

But it's cool to see other late-night options slowly springing up around town. Nothing against the IHOPs, Village Inns or Waffle Houses in the area, considering I've visited all three of those chains each on multiple occasions during the crazy dancing days of my 20s; but I love locally owned places best.

Like Josh Lynch's Dog House food truck, which he parks outside Mercury Lounge at 18th and Boston. He graciously agreed to be interviewed for my late-night food story in Weekend magazine, which ran Thursday. Along with his spot, I mentioned many of the usual suspects (drive-thrus and diners) and some locally owned establishments.

Still, I probably missed some cool places, so I wanted to see if I missed one of YOUR favorite late-night nosheries. Tell me about it, pretty please, along with what your favorite thing(s) on the menu there.

Peace, love and late-night fries ... XOXO

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
