Beginning this Sunday, Duke's Southern Kitchen, 10441 S. Regal Blvd., at the SpiritBank Event Center, will begin offering a new Sunday brunch under new corporate chef Doug Atkinson.
Atkinson said some of the items on the brunch, which runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., are sweet potato pancakes, crabcake Benedict, Southern Benedict (tasso ham, cheese biscuit, poached eggs, gravy) and chicken-fried steak and eggs.
Atkinson comes from Go West Restaurant & Saloon in Sapulpa. He also will oversee the Brasserie and Sonoma Bistro & Wine Bar.
Former corporate chef Justin Thompson reportedly will be opening his own new restaurant downtown.
