Brooklyn indie pop act Vampire Weekend's sophomore studio album, "Contra" dubuts on Jan. 12. Here's the first video from the upcoming release.

The contrast of tribal-influenced beats, frolicking violins, sparkling reverb and warbling lyrics about college girls and taxi rides blends to invent a nostalgic genre all Vampire Weekend’s own.
