NBC is changing its Friday night programming again to add a Hurricane Sandy fundraiser.
The special titled "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together," which will benefit the American Red Cross' Hurricane Sandy relief efforts on the east coast, will also air on Bravo, USA, E!, CNBC, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and G4. It will be broadcast live from NBC's 30 Rock studios in New York and live-streamed on NBC.com. There is also a possibility it may be carried on other channels, according to hollywoodreporter,com.
"Today's" Matt Lauer will host the event with musical performances by Bruce Springstreen, Christina Aguilera, Billy Joel, Sting and Jon Bon Jovi and appearances by "NBC Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams and late night host Jimmy Fallon.
On Wednesday, NBC announced it would air a repeat episode of its hit drama "Revolution" at 7 p.m., replacing "Guys With Kids" and "Go On."
Thursday morning, the Peacock network changed its programming plan again.
Friday's lineup will be:
7 p.m. - News Special: "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together"
8 p.m. "Grimm"
9 p.m. - "Revolution"
