NOT IN THIS WEEKEND'S FORECAST: Fans exit the bleachers after weather-lightning delayed high school football action between Edison and Memorial at LaFortune Stadium on September 7. JOEY JOHNSON/For the Tulsa World

Another college football season comes to a close... kind of. As such, I would like to introduce you to a little game I've been playing with these football forecasts:

1: Go to the Tulsa National Weather Service page. Link here.

2: Since Norman and Stillwater and not marked on the map, try to click where you think they are.

3: The NWS page will then tell you if you are correct, or tell you if your mouse clicker instead landed in Pink, Okla. or Coyle, Okla. Hit your browser "back" button to try again.

Since no college bowls are located in those towns, and since OU and OSU aren't playing at home this weekend, that game is officially retired for me until next season.

This week, I have it easy, as Waco (Baylor), Fort Worth (TCU) and Tulsa (um, that would also be "Tulsa") are all marked on their area weather service pages.

Since all of the games start at 11 a.m., let's start here in Tulsa and work our way south down I-35:

Conference USA championship game: Tulsa hosting UCF, 11 a.m. Saturday

Tulsa's weather most of these football season has been occasionally windy, sometimes warm and always dry, so Tulsa is dependably all of the same this Saturday, which may give TU a homefield advantage!

Mostly cloudy with a high near 73 is expected by Saturday afternoon. Unlike earlier this week, overnight lows are just mid to upper 50s, so no worries about cold morning tailgates.

For kickers: Bad news. Tulsa is once again windy, with south gusts up to 35 mph forecast.

OU at TCU, 11 a.m. Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas

Take Tulsa's temperatures and turn them up a notch, we're further south, after all!

Fort Worth's Saturday morning shouldn't start off too cold, as overnight lows are low 60s.

Saturday's skies are forecast to be partly sunny with a high near 77.

However, like Tulsa, expect some south wind: Gusts up to 25 mph forecast.

OSU at Baylor, 11 a.m. Saturday in Waco, Texas

We end our weather forecast southbound journey in Waco, with the highest temperatures and lowest wind gusts forecast.

After overnight lows in the upper 50s, Waco's Saturday skies are forecast to be partly sunny, with a high near 78.

South wind gusts are forecast for Waco also, but they're only expected to reach as high as 20 mph.

Have a good football weekend! I'll be back for bowl season.

Don't forget to send in your snowfall total guesses for our winter. Find out about the contest here, and send Jerry your guesses at jerry.wofford@tulsaworld.com. An important addendum to the contest: Also send in the date Tulsa will receive the first measurable snow. That will be used as a tiebreaker.
