If you can free up a few hours Friday morning, head to Expo Square to attend the enVision Summit, a free three-hour forum intended to gather ideas from area residents on how to improve the region.

The summit, sponsored by Tulsa County and a coalition of area mayors and chambers, is set for 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday at Expo Square's Central Park Hall.

Organizers encourage attendees to come with ideas for improving the region's infrastructure, use of land and water resources, business recruitment, sports and entertainment industries, and regional collaboration and efficiencies.

Register online at tulsaworld.com/envisionsummit before 5 p.m. Thursday.

For more information on the summit, call the Tulsa Metro Chamber at 918-585-1201.
