Actress Jennifer Lawrence admitted to Conan O'Brien that she "stalked Uncle Jesse" (John Stamos) from "Full House" at a party.

The "Hunger Games" and "Silver Linings Playbook" star told O'Brien all about her surreal encounter with the actor Tuesday on his TBS talk show "Conan."

"He was at a party, and I turned into a perverted guy," said the 22-year-old Oscar nominee who admitted a crush on the former "Full House" sitcom star. "I was like following him into rooms and staring at his ass.

"I lost my mind when I met him," she said. "... And I got so upset - I didn't want to meet him because when I meet people it's never good, and I was avoiding him. But then my friends brought him over because my friends are jerks, and I started really freaking out.

"And he asked me if I was on mushrooms, and I said, 'No. I'm dead sober. This is just me.'"

Stamos, 49, who also starred on "ER" and has guest-starred on "Glee" and "The New Normal," responded to the news of his missed opportunity by tweet Tuesday.

“Conan” airs at 10 p.m. weeknights on TBS, cable 47.

Rita Sherrow grew up with TV. Yes, it was the ever-present “sister” from another techno mother. At first look, it was instant "Like." From then on, the TV had to be on in every room while she studied, elementary school through college. An Air Force brat, she attended school in three states (Oklahoma, Montana and Georgia) and two foreign countries (Germany and Bermuda) and graduated from Broken Arrow High School and the University of Tulsa with a degree in journalism/advertising. She first interned in the advertising world but, when a J-School professor (who also covered politics for the Tulsa World) offered her an internship at the newspaper, she took him up on it. The rest is history. She has served as bridal editor, senior features writer for the women’s section, food editor and is television editor of the Tulsa World. In addition to writing about TV shows and interviewing the stars for “Scene” stories, she also writes a TV column for Weekend and produces the Sunday TV World listings magazine.
