Paris, Paris, Paris ...

Best mug shot: Paris or me?

It seems Paris Hilton was released from jail today, according to TMZ.com and CNN. Apparently, she wasn't eating, so she's under mansion arrest for 40 days.

Call me Blondie, but methinks if anyone else in prison for similar circumstance decided to shrug off three squares a day hoping to get out of jail, he or she probably wouldn't be sent home to lounge about the pool, watch MTV or chat on the phone. So I'm a smidgen bitter. Thoughts? Let's discuss.

Peace, love and Paris ... j.a.w.

I'm sure she had it so rough, the only solution she had was a hunger strike (perhaps advice from pal Nicole?)

I just read that she was sent screaming back to jail for the remainder of her sentence... poor poor Paris.

Love the pic and and blogs!!

OK, now that she's talked to Barbara Walters from jail and said she's changed, mentioned God, etc., I feel kinda guilty. Then again, she did need to go back to pokey. However, the shots of her crying in the police car made me blush. Bless her heart -- and I really mean that.

Living Wright

While other kids were watching "The Smurfs," Scene Writer Jason Ashley Wright was tuned in to "Style with Elsa Klensch." By fourth grade, he knew he wanted to write, and spent almost three years publishing a weekly teen-oriented magazine, Teen-Zine -- circulation: 2. After earning a degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi, he became the medical reporter and teen board coordinator for the Hattiesburg (Miss.) American, a Gannett newspaper. Eight months later, with visions of Elsa dancing in his head, he applied for the fashion writer position at the Tulsa World, where he began working on Aug. 3, 1998. He is now a general assignment reporter for Scene.
