Michelle Obama will cook with Paula Deen
on her show "Paula's Party" on Saturday
on the Food Network.

On her Food Network show "Paula's Party," Paula Deen has cooked with everyone from Isaac Mizrahi to Donald Trump Jr. On Saturday's show, Paula cooks with Michelle Obama.

According to the Food Network site, the two will prepare a deep-fried Southern dinner of fried shrimp and french fries and share stories about their families' favorite meals.

Michelle tells Paula that Barack's favorite meal is a bowl of chili, and that the first meal she ever cooked for him was seafood gumbo.

The Associated Press reports that Paula has extended an invitation to Cindy McCain to also appear on the show.

In other Paula Deen news... Paula Deen had this to say, in the October issue of Ladies' Home Journal, about ALMOST meeting Hillary Clinton:

"I was going to meet her in North Carolina, where she was campaigning, and I was gonna interview her on the foods she grew up on, and what she and her family like to eat now--just very light and nonpolitical. But at the last minute her people called and said they couldn't do it, I think because of my relationship with Smithfield. [Editor's note: Deen has an endorsement deal with Smithfield Foods, the world's largest pork producer.]

"Smithfield's largest plant is not unionized, so my guess is the union people called and said to Hillary's people, 'If you allow that woman to interview you, we're going to tell everybody you're not for the union.' So the interview was cancelled, and my heart was broken. It was probably political, and that's not my agenda."

If Paula is supporting the Obama family then I have watched the last show of hers forever. Anyone can see that Obama is a fool and can't even speak without a teleprompter! Dean is getting weirder by the day anyway.....she comes on to guys half her age all the time on her shows. She is just plain old dirty.

I don’t believe this blog was intended to be political, nor is it the forum to be bashing candidates. However, I do agree that PD is getting weirder by the day.

Okay....if this blog was not meant to political, then let's run one regarding McCain and Palen cooking moose or elk at a campfire! Come on....of course it's political if Dean is having Ms. Obama on her show.

The title "Paula Deen goes political" may be a bit of tongue and cheek. After all, this is a food blog.

Well, we can go over these twists and turns all day....but Dean is just too repulsive to watch these days when she is all over the young men she has on her show. Then again, it is her show and she can do whatever pleases her. I would think her grown sons and new husband would be embarassed of her behavior. If you want to keep this blog strickly food oriented....then that is what I have tried to do in this comment. I wish Ms. Mikles would have thought before printing this mess.

Now, on to cooking - her recipes are so laden with Sat Fat and Cholest - that she needs to be arrested for homicide for all the innocents she is killing. Google her. Paula Dean is a hot mess.
