English singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel has co-founded a free streaming online music service called We7.

The site says it offers millions of songs from four major record labels and hundreds of independent record labels. Supposedly, tracks and albums will be available, in full, for free (though, I found, like on iLike, not tunes all are full-length). You can create playlists, buy music and share recommendations.

>> CLICK HERE TO TRY We7

(Music-wise, the first four searches I did brought up zero results, but I did find streaming music samples by The Police, GNR, My Bloody Valentine, Kenny Rogers, Motorhead and more ...)

And ...

Back in April, Gabriel launched The Filter to create a music recommendation site, too. Essentially, you tell it the music, movies and TV shows you watch, and it will send you daily recommendations for all three genres.

>> CLICK HERE TO TRY THE FILTER

(The music-side works great, it nailed my music preferences ... but was not as close with my movie preferences.)
