I can't wait for the Pioneer Woman's Food Network show.

It sounds like it's going to be a little like "The Barefoot Contessa," in that we get to see more than cooking "The Pioneer Woman" is a glimpse into her life.

Just as we watch Ina Garten make a trip to a fabulous boulangerie in Bridgehampton, on "The Pioneer Woman" we'll watch Ree Drummond make a side trip to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserves in Pawhuksa.

It seems to me most Americans care little about the Hamptons, and would be more interested in a place so seemingly remote it's nearly exotic. Like Pawhuska.

In the weeks leading up to the premiere, check out the Tulsa World for sneak peek video footage and an interview with one of our favorite Bartlesville natives.

Until then, here are some photos from a Food Network shoot at the Drummond ranch.

The show premieres at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27 on the Food Network, cable channel 58.
