Today -- Tuesday, 27th March -- is when one component of J.K. Rowling's much-anticipated website, Pottermore, becomes active.

Naturally, it's the part that involves shopping.

Digital versions of the seven Harry Potter novels should be available for purchase through the Pottermore shop. E-book editions are $7.99 each for books One through Three, $9.99 for books Four through Seven.

Digital audio versions range from $29.99 to $44.99.

If you wish to purchase the complete set in one fell swoop, the cost is $57.54 of the e-books, $242.94 for the audio versions.

The digital versions are compatible with just about every popular device -- iPads/Pods/Phones, Barnes & Noble's Nook, Amazon's Kindle, the Sony E-Reader, Motorola Droid, etc.

Pottermore has been in development for about two years, and is designed to provide an "immersive experience" in the world J.K. Rowling created in her novels about the boy wizard, with new stories and extensive interactive features.

The complete site is expected to be up and running by mid-April.
