Justin Thompson, chef-proprietor of Juniper, will open a second restaurant, Prhyme Downtown Steakhouse, on Nov. 28.

The new steakhouse will be located at 111 N. Main St. in the Brady District.

"It is an upscale modern steakhouse with beef options like no other in town," Thompson said. "We will have prime wet-aged beef, which is the most common in steakhouses, plus American grass-fed beef and 40-day dry-aged beef."

Thompson said in addition to beef, the restaurant will offer such items as lobster, scallops, salmon, Cornish game hens, lamb and pork chops.

He said entrees will range from $24 to $50.

Hours will be 4-11 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 4-9 p.m. Sunday.

The phone has not been connected, but Thompson said reservations may be made by emailing prhyme@prhymetulsa.com.

This if going to be tough with no downtown lunch crowd support. Good luck!

Every restaurant I go into downtown is usually packed at lunch.

Apparently you don't go downtown in the evenings during the week and also on the weekends. I do, more and more people are downtown other than for working during the day.

If the food is good, customer service good and fair prices it should do well. Hmmmm.....steak! :)

Prime steaks that are dry aged...plus lamb, lobster & scallops....sounds wonderful with a good wine list...I wish them well...Hard to find 5 star restaurants with table cloths these days.

I don't think Justin needs luck; 8 of us ate at his Juniper restaurant tonight and he had a very good crowd.

Juniper is a terrific restaurant. I am sure that Justin's new venture will be a destination restaurant for those who enjoy fine dining...and an expense account.

This must be the one in the new Fairfield Inn.
