Released worldwide via iTunes on Monday, money raised from the sale of the OneRepublic single “Feel Again” will go to help Save the Children and the Ad Council’s new Every Beat Matters campaign for newborn and child survival, the band announced in a press release.

Band frontman Ryan Tedder wrote the song, and used the heartbeats of children in villages of Malawi and Guatemala for inspiration, he said. Tedder was raised in Tulsa.

Every Beat Matters helps treat children with illnesses that might otherwise die before their fifth birthday, including pneumonia, diarrhea and malaria, in some of the world’s poorest communities. Learn more at tulsaworld.com/everybeatfb.
