Longtime Tulsa musician and bass player
Ron Martin died late Tuesday night from complications from aneurysm, said longtime friend and local musician
Rocky Frisco in a call to the Tulsa World today.
Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Crossroads Fellowship Church, 100 W. Dawes, in Bixby.
Ronald Whitney Martin Jr. collapsed after a show at Tulsa's Dixie Tavern last weekend and was hospitalized, said Frisco.
Martin has performed with many longtime Tulsa musicians, including Frisco, Flash Terry, Brad Absher and Kevin Phariss.
Also, friends will be holding an unofficial memorial jam at 3 p.m. Saturday at Dixie Tavern, located at 3161-M S. 129th E. Ave.
