The decade’s top-selling and most awarded group in country music,
Rascal Flatts will make its third appearance on FOX’s “
American Idol” on
April 28.
The group, featuring
Picher native
Joe Don Rooney, will perform their hit “
Unstoppable” and will also sing with
Shakira on her song “
Gypsy.”
Rascal Flatts previously performed on "Idol" in May 2005 as the musical guest of
Carrie Underwood, who won the title that same evening. The band also appeared on "
Idol Gives Back" in 2007.
